Per Elofsson, I will miss you!
According to svt.se and Expressen.se, my all time favourite cross country skier, Per Elofsson, will quit skiing. This after years and years with problems. It all started during the last Winter Olympics when the skier Johann Mühlegg, filled with drugs, thrashed Per and his phyche. Before that race Per was the best skier in the world and from the day after he was nothing. Well, it’s a complex story but anyway, it seems like it’s over.
Update: Yes, it’s really over. Per held a press conference tonight confirming the rumors.
