hipster mall!!!

yesterday, after the trek in the hills, we drove down to costa mesa and met up with daisy and kaye at this themed mall. this one was called camp and the whole mall looked like an outdoor camping, high tech style. we had dinner there at a vegan restaurant. very good ice tea and the dishes looked and tasted amazing. after food we walked cross the street and entered another mall owned by the same company and it was called the lab and looked like a building site. thrashy architecture for the alternatives! urban outfitters and some other alt.culture shops. a band was playing live outside and man it was so weird!!!

today i tried out the public transport system and it works fine! its actually really good! molly dropped me off at the train station in orange where i waited 40 minutes for the price to go down. yeah it costs morre during rush our! then i took the train to union station downtown LA, walked up to chinatown and had lunch (at 10am..). then i tried out the bus system. took the bus all the way to santa monica. only problem was the seats was really hard so i had to change position all the time but it was ok because i fell asleep eventually.

did the famous santa monica pier and the beach – weather is hot like swedish summer! so i rolled up my jeans and took off my bomber jacket and layed down and fell asleep until a crazy girl started talking about that i should listen to my hands and feet more. she also told me she heard voices all the time, and the voices were telling her great jokes and stuff. i decided to leave her alone and walked up to broadway and now i am at the apple store santa monica.

tonight: performance at moca and then M.I.A. at the knitting factory!
